Making Freeport and Pownal a Livable Community for Everyone
Freeport Community Services invites the public to Community Night, June 19 6-7:30pm.
Annually, Freeport Community Services hosts a Community Night for residents of Freeport and Pownal. The purpose of Community Night is to identify needs in the community, provide an opportunity to give feedback to FCS on what is working and where there may be room for improvement.
This year, the theme of Community Night is “Making Freeport and Pownal a Livable Community for Everyone.” A livable community is one that enables citizens to thrive across their lifespans. A livable community is a great place for people of all ages to live, work, play and do business.
As part of its strategic planning process, FCS invites the public to attend and brainstorm on what currently exists that make our community livable, and what more is needed to make our community more livable for people to remain active, healthy and engaged in our community.
Please join us on Wednesday, June 19th from 6:00-7:30 at Freeport Community Services for this lively discussion. This event is free and open to the public. Please register by June 16th. For more information or to register, please contact Kim Hudak at 865-3985 x 202 or Paula Paladino at x 204.
