Be part of thrive2027

In 2015/2016 the community came together to set three ten-year goals: Give our kids a strong start, Empower our neighbors to thrive – not survive, and Help us all live longer, better. You told us what it was going to take to build a more thriving community. Now United Way of Greater Portland, the backbone of Thrive2027, is inviting community members to come back to learn more, share more, and get more involved.  Be a part of ONE thriving community Tuesday, February 25 from 5:30PM to 7PM, at Freeport Community Services located at 53 Depot Street.

Visit thrive2027.org to register.

About the Event:

From January to April 2020, United Way of Greater Portland, serving as the backbone of Thrive2027, will host five events throughout Cumberland County. These events will serve as a follow-up to the series of 90 conversations with over 1,500 people that helped establish the goals and framework for Thrive2027. Each event will reintroduce Thrive2027, invite public comment and discussion, and showcase work completed in the first three years of the goal strategies. Participants will also learn more about engagement opportunities. Join the conversation and be the ONE to help make Cumberland County even stronger for everyone who calls it home.

Who Should Attend: Business community, educators, parents/ guardians, non-profit professionals, volunteers, service groups, young leaders, etc. Anyone who is concerned about their immediate community and region and wants to help ensure a thriving Cumberland County.
